Macnica Networks Corp. System administrators and similar personnel use privileged accounts that serve as a system ID that grants them high-level privileges. Should these accounts be compromised and used maliciously in cyber-attacks, internal misconduct or internal crimes, there is a strong likelihood that this may cause enormous damage to the organization in the form of leaking vital information and causing system interruptions.

The Privileged Account Security Solution (PAS) now available and supported by Macnica Networks, is a complete solution that protects, monitors, detects, alerts and responds to privileged account activities CyberArk PAS provides a multi-layered security solution that includes privileged password management, session recording, least privilege enforcement and privileged data analytics to help organizations defend against advanced persistent threats and insider threats.

The Enterprise Password Vault (EPV) is a component of CyberArk's patented technology and forms the core of PAS solutions. EPV is designed to discover, secure, rotate and control access to privileged account passwords used to access systems throughout the enterprise IT environment. Its flexible policies enable organizations to enforce granular privileged access controls, automate workflows and rotate passwords at a regular cadence without requiring manual IT effort. To demonstrate compliance, organizations can easily report on which users accessed what privileged accounts, when and why. This ensures reliable protection, management, and oversight of the authentication information for privileged accounts.

Privileged Threat Analytics (PTA), is an optional product, that allows organizations to detect, alert, and respond to cyber-attacks targeting privileged accounts. By detecting attackers early, security teams are able to stop an attack before it stops business.
